This Gospel of The Kingdom.

This (Full) Gospel of The Kingdom Shall Be Preached (Must Be Preached) (Is Being Preached) (Will Be Preached), Before the end can come.

Portions of this Lesson are taken from the series, ‘Receiving, Or Missing, God’s Best‘,
by Dr. Earl I Powell, Th.D. (Doc).

This Lesson Addresses Several of God’s Provisions and Expectations.

Please Pray For Understanding and Study ALL of the Scripture References Given In This Lesson.

As a Teacher of In-Depth Bible-Truth I am often called upon to address topics that are somewhat controversial to some in the religious community.

It is Not my intent to offend anyone.
It is Not my intent to enter into religious debates.

I am Called and Anointed To Do a GOOD WORK.
I am Called and Anointed To
Present God’s Truth IN FAITH and IN LOVE.
I am Called and Anointed To
Overcome misunderstanding WITH GOOD and IN LOVE.

God’s Kingdom
Entering God’s Rest, Receiving God’s Best, Right Here, Right Now, on planet earth.

Entering God Rest, Right Here, Right Now, on planet earth, is nearly synonymous with,

Receiving God’s Best, Right Here, Right Now, on planet earth, which is nearly synonymous with,

Entering God’s Kingdom, Right Here, Right Now, on planet earth.

Galatians 5:6 (Amplified Bible)

For [if we are] in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith activated and energized and expressed and working through love.

Romans 12:21 (Amplified Bible)

Do not let yourself be overcome by evil, but overcome (master) evil with good.

At the very beginning of Jesus’ Ministry on planet earth, the very first Teaching and Preaching that Jesus (Began) To Speak and the very first Ministering that Jesus (Began) To Do is recorded in Matthew 4:23-25.

Matthew 4:23-25 (Amplified Bible)

23 And He (Jesus) went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the good news (Gospel) of the kingdom, and (ministering) healing every disease and every weakness and infirmity among the people.

24 So the report of Him spread throughout all Syria, and they brought Him all who were sick, those afflicted with various diseases and torments, those under the power of demons (demonized), and epileptics, and paralyzed people, and He healed them (all).

25 And great crowds joined and accompanied Him about, coming from Galilee and Decapolis [the district of the ten cities east of the Sea of Galilee] and Jerusalem and Judea and from the other [the east] side of the Jordan.

At the very end of Jesus’ Ministry on planet earth, Jesus Commanded that This (Full) Gospel of The Kingdom‘ Shall Be Preached (Must Be Preached) In All the world as a Witness to All the nations. Then (Not Until Then) the end Will Come, (Then (Not Until Then) the end Can Come). Matthew 24:14

Matthew 24:14 (Amplified Bible)

14 And this good news of the kingdom (the Gospel) will be preached throughout the whole world as a testimony (Witness) to all the nations, and then will come the end.

Jesus Commanded That THIS GOSPEL Be Preached.
Jesus
Commanded That HIS GOSPEL (JESUS’ GOSPEL) (THE GOSPEL THAT JESUS PREACHED, TAUGHT, MINISTERED, OPENLY MANIFESTED FOR THE WORLD TO HEAR, SEE, RECEIVE BENEFIT FROM), Not man’s gospel, Be Preached, Taught, Manifested, Proven, Confirmed By the POWER of God.
Signs, Wonders, Miracles, Healing, Deliverance, Salvation Are Supposed To Accompany The Preaching, Teaching, Ministering of God’s Word to mankind, God’s Will for mankind, God’s Work among mankind. Matthew 28:16-20; Mark 16:15-20

1 Corinthians 2:5 (Amplified Bible)

So that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men (human philosophy), but in the Power of God.

1 Corinthians 4:20 (Amplified Bible)

For the kingdom of God consists of and is based on, not talk, but (on the) Power (of God) … … .

Matthew 28:16-20 (Amplified Bible)

16 Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed and made appointment with them.

17 And when they saw Him, they fell down and worshiped Him; but some doubted.

18 Jesus approached and, breaking the silence, said to them, All authority (all power of rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.

19 Go then and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

20 Teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you, and behold, I (Jesus) am with you all the days (perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the [very] close and consummation of the age.
Amen (so let it be).

Mark 16:15-20 (Amplified Bible)

15 And He (Jesus) said to them, Go into all the world and preach and publish openly (Preach) the good news (the Gospel) to every creature [of the whole human race].

16 He who believes [who adheres to and trusts in and relies on the Gospel and Him Whom it sets forth] and is baptized will be saved from the penalty of eternal death]; but he who does not believe [who does not adhere to and trust in and rely on the Gospel and Him Whom it sets forth] will be condemned.

17 And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe: in My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages;

18 They will pick up serpents; and [even] if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will get well.

19 So then the Lord Jesus, after He had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and He sat down at the right hand of God.

20 And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord (Jesus) kept working with them and confirming the message by the attesting signs and miracles that closely accompanied [it].
Amen (so be it)
.

Acts 1:1-3 (Amplified Bible)

1 In the former account [which I prepared], O Theophilus, I made [a continuous report] dealing with all the things which Jesus began to do and to teach,

2 Until the day when He ascended, after He through the Holy Spirit had instructed and commanded the apostles (special messengers) whom He had chosen.

3 To them also He showed Himself alive after His passion (His suffering in the garden and on the cross) by [a series of] many convincing demonstrations [unquestionable evidences and infallible proofs], appearing to them during forty days and talking [to them] about the things of the kingdom of God.

Greek word # 757 is used in Acts 1:1 and is translated into English as, Began.
Greek word # 757 means, to be (the) first (but not the only), to begin (something), a beginning being made, making a beginning, so that a beginning be made (Zodhiates).
To be first, and that in point of time, to begin, make a beginning (Bullinger).
Greek word # 1728 (Began), used in Galatians 3:3 and Philippians 1:6, and Greek word # 757, used in Acts 1:1, come from the same root word, Greek word # 756.

After Jesus Was Resurrected,
He
Commanded His Church To Continue Teaching and Preaching What He Himself (Began) To Speak and To Continue Ministering What He Himself (Began) To Minister.
He Declared That He Had Been Given,
He (Jesus) Has Been Given, All Power and (All) Authority In Heaven and On earth.
He Promised That He Will Work With us To the end of the (Church) age.
This Command, Declaration and Promise Remains In Full Effect During and Throughout The Entire Duration of The Church Age, To the end of the (Church) age. Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-20

After Jesus Ascended Into Heaven Above and Was Seated At The Right Hand of Father God, He Gave Gifts To men.
He
Commanded His Church To Continue Teaching and Preaching What He (Began) To Speak and To Continue Ministering What He (Began) To Minister.
He Was Present With, Protected and Worked With those Who
Believed Him, Obeyed His Command and Trusted Him To Keep His Promise.
He Caused Signs, Wonders, Miracles, Healing, Deliverance To Follow the
Preaching and Teaching, the Ministry of those who Believed Him, Obeyed His Command and Trusted Him To Keep His Promise.
Jesus’
Command, Declaration and Promise Remains In Full Effect During and Throughout The Entire Duration of The Church Age. Acts 1:1-3; Mark 16:15-20; Ephesians 1:15-23; 2:1-7; 3:1-10; 4:3-16

Ephesians 4:3-16 (Amplified Bible)

3 Be eager and strive earnestly to guard and keep the harmony and oneness of [and produced by] the Spirit in the binding power of peace.

4 [There is] one body and one Spirit–just as there is also one hope [that belongs] to the calling you received–

5 [There is] one Lord, one faith, one baptism,

6 One God and Father of [us] all, Who is above all [Sovereign over all], pervading all and [living] in [us] all.

7 Yet grace (God’s unmerited favor) was given to each of us individually [not indiscriminately, but in different ways] in proportion to the measure of Christ’s [rich and bounteous] gift.

8 Therefore it is said, When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive [He led a train of vanquished foes] and He bestowed gifts on men.

9 [But He ascended?] Now what can this, He ascended, mean but that He had previously descended from [the heights of] heaven into [the depths], the lower parts of the earth?

10 He Who descended is the [very] same as He Who also has ascended high above all the heavens, that He [His presence] might fill all things (the whole universe, from the lowest to the highest).

11 And His gifts were [varied; He Himself appointed and gave men to us] some to be apostles (special messengers), some prophets (inspired preachers and expounders), some evangelists (preachers of the Gospel, traveling missionaries), some pastors (shepherds of His flock) and teachers.

12 His intention was the perfecting and the full equipping of the saints (His consecrated people), [that they should do] the work of ministering toward building up Christ’s body (the church),

13 [That it might develop] until we all attain oneness in the faith and in the comprehension of the [full and accurate] knowledge of the Son of God, that [we might arrive] at really mature manhood (the completeness of personality which is nothing less than the standard height of Christ’s own perfection), the measure of the stature of the fullness of the Christ and the completeness found in Him.

14 So then, we may no longer be children, tossed [like ships] to and fro between chance gusts of teaching and wavering with every changing wind of doctrine, [the prey of] the cunning and cleverness of unscrupulous men, [gamblers engaged] in every shifting form of trickery in inventing errors to mislead.

15 Rather, let our lives lovingly express truth [in all things, speaking truly, dealing truly, living truly]. Enfolded in love, let us grow up in every way and in all things into Him Who is the Head, [even] Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

16 For because of Him the whole body (the church, in all its various parts), closely joined and firmly knit together by the joints and ligaments with which it is supplied, when each part [with power adapted to its need] is working properly [in all its functions], grows to full maturity, building itself up in love.

Ephesians 1:15-23 (Amplified Bible)

15 For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints (the people of God),

16 I do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers.

17 [For I always pray to] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him,

18 By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light, so that you can know and understand the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints (His set-apart ones),

19 And [so that you can know and understand] what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength,

20 Which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His [own] right hand in the heavenly [places],

21 Far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named [above every title that can be conferred], not only in this age and in this world, but also in the age and the world which are to come.

22 And He has put all things under His feet and has appointed Him the universal and supreme Head of the church [a headship exercised throughout the church],

23 Which is His body, the fullness of Him Who fills all in all [for in that body lives the full measure of Him Who makes everything complete, and Who fills everything everywhere with Himself].

Ephesians 2:1-7 (Amplified Bible)

1 And you [He made alive], when you were dead (slain) by [your] trespasses and sins

2 In which at one time you walked [habitually]. You were following the course and fashion of this world [were under the sway of the tendency of this present age], following the prince of the power of the air. [You were obedient to and under the control of] the [demon] spirit that still constantly works in the sons of disobedience [the careless, the rebellious, and the unbelieving, who go against the purposes of God].

3 Among these we as well as you once lived and conducted ourselves in the passions of our flesh [our behavior governed by our corrupt and sensual nature], obeying the impulses of the flesh and the thoughts of the mind [our cravings dictated by our senses and our dark imaginings]. We were then by nature children of [God’s] wrath and heirs of [His] indignation, like the rest of mankind.

4 But God–so rich is He in His mercy! Because of and in order to satisfy the great and wonderful and intense love with which He loved us,

5 Even when we were dead (slain) by [our own] shortcomings and trespasses, He made us alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ; [He gave us the very life of Christ Himself, the same new life with which He quickened Him, for] it is by grace (His favor and mercy which you did not deserve) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation).

6 And He raised us up together with Him (Jesus) and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

7 He did this that He might clearly demonstrate through the ages to come the immeasurable (limitless, surpassing) riches of His free grace (His unmerited favor) in [His] kindness and goodness of heart toward us in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 3:1-10 (Amplified Bible)

1 For this reason [because I preached that you are thus built up together], I, Paul, [am] the prisoner of Jesus the Christ for the sake and on behalf of you Gentiles–

2 Assuming that you have heard of the stewardship of God’s grace (His unmerited favor) that was entrusted to me [to dispense to you] for your benefit,

3 [And] that the mystery (secret) was made known to me and I was allowed to comprehend it by direct revelation, as I already briefly wrote you.

4 When you read this you can understand my insight into the mystery of Christ.

5 [This mystery] was never disclosed to human beings in past generations as it has now been revealed to His holy apostles (consecrated messengers) and prophets by the [Holy] Spirit.

6 [It is this:] that the Gentiles are now to be fellow heirs [with the Jews], members of the same body and joint partakers [sharing] in the same divine promise in Christ through [their acceptance of] the glad tidings (the Gospel).

7 Of this [Gospel] I was made a minister according to the gift of God’s free grace (undeserved favor) which was bestowed on me by the exercise (the working in all its effectiveness) of His power.

8 To me, though I am the very least of all the saints (God’s consecrated people), this grace (favor, privilege) was granted and graciously entrusted: to proclaim to the Gentiles the unending (boundless, fathomless, incalculable, and exhaustless) riches of Christ [wealth which no human being could have searched out],

9 Also to enlighten all men and make plain to them what is the plan [regarding the Gentiles and providing for the salvation of all men] of the mystery kept hidden through the ages and concealed until now in [the mind of] God Who created all things by Christ Jesus.

10 [The purpose is] that through the church the complicated, many-sided wisdom of God in all its infinite variety and innumerable aspects might now be made known to the angelic rulers and authorities (principalities and powers) in the heavenly sphere.

Matthew 24:14 (New King James Version)

Christ Jesus Himself Declared that ‘This Gospel of The Kingdom Will Be (Must Be) Preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end (of the world) Will come (Can come)’.

Greek word # 3142 is used in Matthew 24:14 and is translated into English as, witness’.

Greek word # 3142 means, testimony, witness, proof, the declaration which confirms (something) or makes something know. (Zodhiates)

Matthew 4:23-25 (New American Standard Bible)

23 Jesus was going throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness among the people.

24 The news about Him spread throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all who were ill, those suffering with various diseases and pains, demoniacs, epileptics, paralytics; and He healed them.

25 Large crowds followed Him from Galilee and the Decapolis and Jerusalem and Judea and from beyond the Jordan.

Matthew 4:23-25 (Amplified Bible)

23 And He (Jesus) went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the good news ((the) Gospel) of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every weakness and infirmity among the people.

24 So the report of Him spread throughout all Syria, and they brought Him all who were sick, those afflicted with various diseases and torments, those under the power of demons, and epileptics, and paralyzed people, and He healed them (all).

25 And great crowds joined and accompanied Him about, coming from Galilee and Decapolis [the district of the ten cities east of the Sea of Galilee] and Jerusalem and Judea and from the other [the east] side of the Jordan.

Matthew 9:35-38 (New American Standard Bible)

35 Jesus was going through all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness.

36 Seeing the people, He felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and dispirited like sheep without a shepherd.

37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.

38 “Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.”

Matthew, chapters 3 and 4; Luke, chapter 4
John the Baptizer was Sent, By God, as a forerunner to prepare the way for Jesus to begin His Ministry on planet earth.
John preached, saying, Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven Is At Hand.
Immediately after Jesus, at age 30, was Baptized In Water by John the Baptizer the heavens opened to Him and the Holy Spirit descended like a Dove and Lighted Upon Him and He Was Filled With the Holy Spirit.
Then Jesus was Lead By the Holy Spirit into the wilderness to be Tempted by the devil.
After 40-days of Fasting and Overcoming all the Temptations of the devil By Knowing, Speaking and Adhering To God’s Word, Jesus came out of the wilderness In The Power Of the Holy Spirit and (Began) His Ministry on planet earth.

Luke 4:14-30; Isaiah 61:1-3
Jesus (Began) His Ministry on planet earth by entering a religious establishment in His hometown, standing up and reading aloud a certain Prophesy from the Sacred Script. Jesus Declared to religious people that, beginning that very day, He Himself was indeed the fulfillment of God’s Prophesy through Isaiah. Then He sat down in the chair reserved for the Prophet.

Immediately after Jesus Said what He Said and Did what He Did the religious people Rejected Him and Threw Him out of the religious establishment.

The first thing Jesus read aloud from the Prophesy that He Himself Was Fulfilling, was that the Holy Spirit Was Upon Him and He Was Anointed To Preach the Gospel (of the Kingdom) to the Poor.
Jesus also Declared that He Was Sent To Heal the Brokenhearted. To Proclaim Liberty to the Captives. To Proclaim Recovery of Sight to the Blind. To Set at Liberty those who are Oppressed: To Proclaim the Acceptable year of the Lord.

Matthew 8:14-17; Isaiah 53:4

Jesus was also the fulfillment another Prophesy God gave through Isaiah: ‘He Himself Took (Bore) our Infirmities, and Carried Away (Removed) our Diseases.’

1 Peter 2:24; Isaiah 53:4
Peter also spoke that Jesus was the fulfillment of a Prophesy God gave through Isaiah: He Himself Bore (Carried Away) our Sins In His Body On the Cross, that we might Die to Sin and Live to Righteousness; For By His Wounds (Stripes) we Were Healed.

Matthew 11:1-30
When John the Baptizer sent two of his own disciples to Jesus to ask Him, “Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?” Jesus answer the question by saying, “Go and tell John the things which you Hear and See: the Blind See and the Lame Walk; the Lepers are Cleansed and the Deaf Hear; the Dead are Raised Up and the Poor have the Gospel (of the Kingdom) Preached to them. And Blessed is he who is Not Offended by Me.”

James 5:13-20 (Amplified Bible)

13 Is anyone among you afflicted (ill-treated, suffering evil)? He should pray. Is anyone glad at heart? He should sing praise [to God].

14 Is anyone among you sick? He should call in the church elders (the spiritual guides). And they should pray over him, anointing him with oil in the Lord’s name (In Jesus’ Name).

15 And the prayer [that is] of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will restore him; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

16 Confess to one another therefore your faults (your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins) and pray [also] for one another, that you may be healed and restored [to a spiritual tone of mind and heart]. The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].

17 Elijah was a human being with a nature such as we have [with feelings, affections, and a constitution like ours]; and he prayed earnestly for it not to rain, and no rain fell on the earth for three years and six months. [I Kings 17:1.]

18 And [then] he prayed again and the heavens supplied rain and the land produced its crops [as usual]. [I Kings 18:42-45.]

19 [My] brethren, if anyone among you strays from the Truth and falls into error and another [person] brings him back [to God],

20 Let the [latter] one be sure that whoever turns a sinner from his evil course will save [that one’s] soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins [procure the pardon of the many sins committed by the convert].

Please Accept and Appreciate the Bible-Truth that ‘This Gospel of The Kingdom‘, which Must Be Preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations Before the end (of the world) Can come’, has not yet been Preached in all the world Because it can not be Preached without Preaching, Teaching and Ministering Divine Healing, Just Like Jesus Did During His Ministry on planet earth.

With Holy Spirit Understanding of the aforementioned Bible-Truth you can Understand, Accept, Appreciate and Apply the Commands Jesus Gave us.

2 Timothy 1:7 (New American Standard Bible)

For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of Power and Love and Discipline.

1 Corinthians 2:5 (Amplified Bible)

So that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men (human philosophy), but in the Power of God.

1 Corinthians 4:20 (New American Standard Bible)

For the kingdom of God does not consist in words but in Power.

Jesus Commanded us To Do the Same Works That He Did During His Ministry on planet earth and To Do Greater Works Than He Did During His Ministry on planet earth, During and Throughout The Entire Duration of the Church Age.

John 14:12-14 (New American Standard Bible)

12 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father.

13 “Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14 “If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.

Jesus Commanded us to Resist, Expose and Overcome the gates of hell (the Powers of hell, the Powers of the devil).
Jesus Commanded us to Forbid on earth what God Has Forbidden In Heaven and to Allow (Facilitate, Practice) on earth what God Allows In Heaven, and He Promised To Be Present With us and Help us, Even After His Ascension. Matthew 16:13-19; 18:18-20; Mark 16:15-20.

Matthew 16:13-19 (Amplified Bible)

13 Now when Jesus went into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, Who do people say that the Son of Man is?

14 And they answered, Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.

15 He said to them, But who do you [yourselves] say that I am?

16 Simon Peter replied, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.

17 Then Jesus answered him, Blessed (happy, fortunate, and to be envied) are you, Simon Bar-Jonah. For flesh and blood [men] have not revealed this to you, but My Father Who is in heaven.

18 And I tell you, you are Peter [Greek, Petros–a large piece of rock], and on this rock [Greek, petra–a huge rock like Gibraltar] I will build My church, and the gates of Hades (the powers of the infernal region) shall not overpower it [or be strong to its detriment or hold out against it].

19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind (declare to be improper and unlawful) on earth must be what is already bound in heaven; and whatever you loose (declare lawful) on earth must be what is already loosed in heaven.

Matthew 18:18-20 (Amplified Bible)

18 Truly I tell you, whatever you forbid and declare to be improper and unlawful on earth must be what is already forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit and declare proper and lawful on earth must be what is already permitted in heaven.

19 Again I tell you, if two of you on earth agree (harmonize together, make a symphony together) about whatever [anything and everything] they may ask, it will come to pass and be done for them by My Father in heaven.

20 For wherever two or three are gathered (drawn together as My followers) in (into) My name, there I AM in the midst of them.

Mark 16:15-20 (Amplified Bible)

15 And He said to them, Go into all the world and preach and publish openly the good news (the Gospel) to every creature [of the whole human race].

16 He who believes [who adheres to and trusts in and relies on the Gospel and Him Whom it sets forth] and is baptized will be saved [from the penalty of eternal death]; but he who does not believe [who does not adhere to and trust in and rely on the Gospel and Him Whom it sets forth] will be condemned.

17 And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe: in My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages;

Amen (so be it).

Now for the Bottom Line!
Now we Know why all-of-the-above Is So Important To God.

Ephesians 3:1-21 (New King James Version)

The Mystery Revealed

1 For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for you Gentiles—
2 if indeed you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me for you,
3 how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery (as I have briefly written already,
4 by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ),
5 which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets:
6 that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel,
7 of which I became a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the effective working of His power.

Purpose of the Mystery

8 To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,
9 and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ;
10 to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places,
11 according to the eternal purpose which He (God) accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord,
12 in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.
13
Therefore I ask that you do not lose heart at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.

Appreciation of the Mystery

14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,
17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—
19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,
21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen (so be it).

Respectfully submitted for you consideration,

17 And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe: in My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages;

17 And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe: in My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages;

8 To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,
9 and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ;

Respectfully submitted for you consideration,
Dr. Earl I Powell, Th.D.
