Business Men in Christ was founded in June 2003 to reach the many churched and unchurched men in Central Illinois. We are an ALL volunteer organization with no paid staff and all offices are directed by men who volunteer their time for our unique group.

Founded on the Pillars of Outreach, Service and Discipleship, B.M.I. C., has become a well known institution here in Springfield, Illinois and surroundings for our outreach and evangelism (Gospel tract ministry and the Annual Godmobile booth at the Illinois state fair, where hundreds have been saved in the past few years!). We are also part of the philathrophic community through our  Annual Charity Golf Outing where we have raised well needed funds for Inner City Mission and In His Hands Orphans Outreach and more.

While we do this and other service projects, BMIC is first and foremost about the Business of Christ,  our wives and children and the people we come into contact with. We are about discipling and training men to go back to their homes and churches and reach others for Jesus.  We are about Transformation.

Business Men in Christ is a Romans 12 Ministry…the entire chapter.

We believe in the Total and absolute Truth of the Bible. We believe every word of every phrase of every page is Literally the Anointed and Spiritfilled Word of God.

We believe all 66 Books of the Bible to be God-breathed and profitable for teaching, reaching and believing.

We believe in the Virgin Birth, Life, Ministry, Crucifixion, Death and Burial of Jesus,  the Messiah.

We believe in the First Resurrection on the Third Day after He was slain for our sins on the Cross.

We believe He will come again to take His children Home to be with Him before the Wrath of God falls on a wicked and unsaved world.

We believe in the 1000 Year Reign of Christ, where He will rule the Nations from Jerusalem.

We believe that Salvation can only be attained by the Grace of God alone,  through Faith alone, in Christ alone, to the Glory of God alone.

We believe there must be repentance and asking for forgiveness of sins before we are saved (Mark 1:15 AMP: “And saying, The [appointed period of] time is fulfilled (completed), and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent (have a change of mind which issues in regret for past sins and in change of conduct for the better) and believe (trust in, rely on, and adhere to) the good news (the Gospel)”).

Nothing we can do will ever get us into Heaven. It is only through these things and trusting in the Finished Work on the Cross for our sins, and accepting Christ as the Lord of your life NOW – that YOU and I – formerly worthless sinners,  are now adopted into the wonderful and eternal Family of God!

THE B.M.I.C. SCHOOL OF MINISTRY

STATE & COUNTY BMIC MINISTER LICENSE & CERTIFICATION!

The Lord has given the vision of the next phase in the Spiritual Maturity of the Men of Business Men in Christ. There will be a total of over two dozen men licensed as full ministers under the direction and mentoring of BMIC. This includes those of us who are already ordained pastors/ministers/evangelists etc. BMIC ministers will be then equipped to launch into various local and regional mission fields where a valid minister’s license is required. BMIC Ministers are also charged with the function of street, prison, hospital and other outreach ministry opportunities where a local church is not operating. This will avoid duplication of efforts and any potential conflicts of interest. All our licenses are valid in all 50 U.S. States, under the laws on the State of Illinois. While some our licenses and full color authorized picture IDs are held by actually pastors, we must emphasize that BMIC does NOT normally ordain pastors, except on the very rare occasion when allowed by the particular church government. We exist to support the local church and not replace it.

Currently, over 30 men have been certified as ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ by BMIC, including 8 active pastors of area churches.  Email bernielutchman@gmail.com for more information.

The Logo is as seen above (12:2) to represent from whence God has taken us on this path. The logo 12:2 is Romans 12:2, the Scripture verse which God used to launch “The Transformation Project” in August 2010. Four years later, He is moving our entire Discipleship apparatus under one umbrella. Keep walking in His marvelous Light because THE LORD REIGNS!
UPDATE ON OCTOBER 12, 2023:
The Vision for the next Five Years of BMIC (2023-2028) is as follows: THE RESURRECTED LIFE. The BMIC Verse into Year 25 in 2028 is Philippians 3:10a “My goal is to know Him and the Power of His Resurrection”. We are doing deep into this verse, not just for the obvious positives and benefits of living the Authentic Kingdom Life now, but we have to discern and be on the alert for all the pitfalls against that Biblical way of Life, and the boundaries we must place around ourselves to accomplish this stated Goal from the Book of Philippians.
