Former Army combat vet and Missions Director of the Illinois Baptist State Association, Bradley Lovin is now the Executive Director of the Washington Street Mission in Springfield. Founded by the great American evangelist Billy Sunday, the Mission has been an oasis for the city of Springfield’s homeless for over one hundred years. To Brad, this job as Director, is more than an occupation. His personal life and home life reflect his values and what he brings to the table as a man of God and Christian leader. Here, he shares on what the ministry of hospitality has brought to his neighborhood, full of professionals of all races, religions and backgrounds.
