When putting on the “Whole Armor” of God we often overlook the importance of having our feet “shod with the gospel of peace.” A very close friend of mine took the time to tell many others about just how important those shoes really are. I hope you enjoy and take to heart what he had to say:

You are a soldier of the Lord … and as such you are to stand on the Word … and stand on the Rock— both of which are Jesus Christ. And as a soldier, do you stand unshod? Is there nothing on your feet to secure you to that Rock? Ephesians tells us there is: So, you see there are shoes on your feet. The shoes of the gospel of peace.
“Having your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace.” — Ephesians 6:15

UNDERGROUND CHINESE CHURCH IN A BASEMENT

Matthew chapter 13has an instructive discourse by the Lord Jesus. In it, He teaches in parables again, but this time, He is even more specific about what the Kingdom of Heaven is truly like! Most believers do not realize it but at the point of conversion, when we are adopted permanently into the family of God, we ARE already operational in Kingdom business! Everything we do, think, say, reveal, teach etc is viewed, in the Eyes of Abba Father, as relevant to His Work! By our actions (or lack of, thereof) we are telling a part of His Story, when we tell some of our story, or those whom we encounter around us!

For instance, this month of November 2012 has been very fulfilling, stunning, encouraging and illuminating as far as the spirit man is concerned!
