MY LIFE VERSE: PSALM 27:4

A Bible verse speaks to each of us in a different way at different times in our lives. While the verse itself has only one meaning – (that which the Lord meant to say) – each verse speaks to us differently, depending on our circumstances at the time we’re reading it! This is the amazing thing about the Living, Breathing Word of God! There is no other Book like it, at any point in human history.
Some folks have a “Life verse”, that which defines us and our walk with the Lord. The verse is also representative of our thinking and where we are at our sanctification. Our favorite verse could even show if we are being transformed into the image of His Wonderful Son Jesus…or do we think more in the flesh!  So without further ado, I wish to introduce you to my Life verse….what it says; what it means and how Scripture further interprets Scripture. My Life Verse looks forward to eternity and expresses my gratitude and total joy at just being allowed to be in the Presence of the Living God!
Now, my friends, is there any better thing you can think of?! Read on….

CHANGING YOUR CITIZENSHIP TO THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN!

When we talk about demons we have to caution ourselves not to go overboard in this area. We don’t want to start thinking everything that goes wrong is because of demons. That would be a misunderstanding on our part; attributing too much power to them. Many times when things go wrong it is our own fault. We initiated a chain of events that caused things to turn out badly. Demons are limited in number, power and ability; they are however tricky, sometimes initiating a suggestion that we think is our own thought to which we follow, resulting in a bad outcome. If we see from the Bible people being set free we have to ask, did those people know they were not free? This is why we have exousia and dunamis for evangelizing. Those we speak to do not know they are mentally being held captive. If we extract those demons blinding the minds of the unsaved, they can come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. That is the goal, that is the reason we have power.

Our power is really not given to us to fix the saved. The greatest distortion of the charismatic church today is in healing and deliverance. For some reason people have been led to believe (and remember Lucifer had Holy Places) that Christians should all be healed, healthy, and living “heaven on earth”. But that is not what we see in the first century church. Just because power is available does not mean we have the right to use it how we want; overwhelmingly from scripture, every place dunamis or exousia was used was in preaching the gospel.
