MY LIFE VERSE: PSALM 27:4

A Bible verse speaks to each of us in a different way at different times in our lives. While the verse itself has only one meaning – (that which the Lord meant to say) – each verse speaks to us differently, depending on our circumstances at the time we’re reading it! This is the amazing thing about the Living, Breathing Word of God! There is no other Book like it, at any point in human history.
Some folks have a “Life verse”, that which defines us and our walk with the Lord. The verse is also representative of our thinking and where we are at our sanctification. Our favorite verse could even show if we are being transformed into the image of His Wonderful Son Jesus…or do we think more in the flesh!  So without further ado, I wish to introduce you to my Life verse….what it says; what it means and how Scripture further interprets Scripture. My Life Verse looks forward to eternity and expresses my gratitude and total joy at just being allowed to be in the Presence of the Living God!

GLORY TO HIS NAME!

The chief end of man is to Glorify our Great God and enjoy Him forever! This is why He created those whom He has called by His Own Name. He knew us before the Foundation of the Earth and before time, as we know it, began.

1 Corinthians 10:31 tells us to glorify Him (His Name) in all we do.
This is why we say thanks before we eat and why we should thank Him when we get to our destinations safely, without accident or incident. 
This is why we acknowledge His Hands in the jobs we have and the paychecks we earn. 
This is why we should never disparage the homes we live in or the spouses He gave us. 
This is why we should never let our kids leave our homes without bringing them up in the Ways of the Lord. This is why we should be mindful of Him AT ALL TIMES, loving, praising and worshipping – never wanting to disappoint Him by the sinful things mankind is capable of!

The Name of the Lord is greatly to be praised!
The Name of the Lord is a strong tower – many run to it to be saved!
The Name of the Lord is Life
The Name of the Lord is a living water in the dry and thirsty land.
