CROSS TRAIL OUTFITTERS (CTO)  is a national sports fishing and hunting ministry which does a growing amount of outreach to kids from 7-20. CTO is primarily for boys ages 7-20, offering a wide range of year-round outdoor activities. There are also opportunities for families and girls to participate in some CTO activities. They are now in several counties in Illinois and led from state head office in Champaign by Rev. Eric “Bear” St. Pierre, a former WWE wrestler. Most of the work is done on the County Level. Here in Sangamon County, Joe Hardwick of Chatham, Illinois is doing a phenomenal job. In this very brief video, Joe came across this incredible property south of Chatham, which would be perfect for the mission of CTO to help disadvantaged and other youth become well rounded citizens and Christians. Business Men in Christ has raised and supported many local (only) charitable non-profit organizations since our first Golf outing in 2004. They include the Inner City Mission; Campus Crusade; In His Hands Orphans Ministry;  No Mountain Too High; First Steps (formerly Lifetime Pregnancy Center) and others.  We are an ALL VOLUNTEER ministry based in Springfield, Illinois with a chapter in Decatur, Illinois.

Our three pillars are Discipleship, Outreach and Service with the Goal of Transformation. We train and disciple Christian men, of ALL denominations to be better Fathers; Husbands; Church members and members of the community. We meet monthly in one of the two locations listed at the top of this home page, in Decatur and Springfield, respectively.
