The annual JesusFest Christian music Fall outreach, by Springfield Business Men in Christ is this Saturday September 10 at the Bandshell of Rock and Roll Hardee’s, 2501 Stevenson Drive in Springfield, Illinois! JesusFest 6 is run by BMIC President Bernie Lutchman and Brian Powell of the Powerlight Fest Team. The goal, therein, is to promote local Christian musicians, singers and acts like The Mighty Crush 3 Christian Power Team. This year, the leader of the Crush – Kevin Simsburger – will be pulling an 18-wheeler truck without the attached trailer!

The three plus hour concert starts at 4pm with a new singer named Gabe Powell and the following acts are on tap. Most are original musicians who span the spectrum of music styles from Contemporary Jazz Worship and Black Gospel to Hillsong styled Praise and Worship and Christian Rap. Performers are Roddrick Lamar, Angie Davis,  The New Life Worship Group and Zach Ayappa – Mama’s Boy (MB). The book of John has Seven of the Great “I AM” statements of King Jesus, the Lord of the Universe – your Lord and my Lord and Savior. SEVEN “I AM” STATEMENTS FROM THE BOOK OF JOHN
1. The Bread Of Life – Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty.

2. The Light Of The World –When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” (John 8:12)

3. The Gate – I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and find pasture. (John 10:9)
