Later on we will see that knowing all these facts about God, and staying faithful to Him to the letter of the Law, is not as complete as a close personal knowledge (YADA) of Him!”. Job thinks that only God may be able to do this to him, but he obviously does not know that it was the devil – Satan – who was allowed to do some horrid damage to Job (see Job chapter 1).
